The Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Monthly Series is committed to raising awareness of sensitive ethical issues commonly encountered while conducting research. This session includes a lively discussion with Pamela Hinds, PhD, RN, FAAN.
Dr. Hinds is the Executive Director of the Department of Nursing Science, Professional Practice, and Quality, the William and Joanne Conway Endowed Chair in Nursing Research, the Research Integrity Officer at Children's National Health System in Washington, D.C., and a Professor of Pediatrics at the George Washington University, School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D. C.
Dr. Hinds will offer insights on the meaning of being an author, the criteria for authorship, and the importance of the authorship discussion.
Anyone involved throughout the research enterprise including, under- and graduate students, administrative staff, researchers, postdocs and faculty, is encouraged to attend.
