This intermediate-level workshop will introduce methods and tools for processing text and transforming it into data that can be analyzed. Participants will be introduced to the spacy Python library and basic methods of quantitative textual analysis. Prior exposure to Python, such as through the "Introduction to Python" workshop or Python Camp, is helpful. No installation of Python is needed.
